An imposing medieval castle overlooks the town of Begur, which has an excellent historic centre, its streets speak to us of sailors, pirates, fishermen and, more recently, of the Indianos (returning colonists) and their houses.
The shops, bars and restaurants that can be found in the narrow streets of Begur remind us that, despite the passage of time, the people here have known how to retain their identity and their roots.
